First ride for a while

Well, I now have doctor's approval to try our a bike ride.

A little breezy this morning, dust in the air, but a good way to get back into things. About 90 minutes, slow and steady around our little town here, and it velt very good to be mobile again!

(Either my cleats have slipped, or my leg was pinned back at a funny angle - my heel sticks out!)

Back in the saddle again - a very significant step.

I'll see if I can add some pictures - not the most exciting, but anyhow...

All good wishes

Glad to see you are back riding- but remember that after such a serious injury- you are going to feel it.

NO mountain climbs or 100 milers for a while so just ease back into things gently.

After a 6 months lay off in which I did manage to do some exercise- I did a 40 miler. Ride was fine and took in a couple of very steep slopes and at the end I was elated. Then sat down- changed the shoes and stood up. Never knew what shin splints were till that time. They hurt.

Lookin' good.

Not much snow in your neck of the world - that's appealing right now for a lot of us.

There's something about you that looks oddly subversive. I can't put my finger on it.
