Need help with a name

A little off topic but I could use some assistance with a name for our new pup. He's an Italian Greyhound (miniature greyhound) with what's called blue and white coloring, really grey and white. For a little guy he's pretty sturdy, loves playing in the snow, being outside, running around...
Given his breed, I'd love something Italian and also related to bikes, an Italian race or something else connected.
I tried to attach a picture but I'm not sure I did it right.
I'd appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks.
Larry

Fausto - Fausto Coppi excelled in climbing, time trials and was a better than average sprinter. And he was fast breaking the world hour record in 1942.

You could do a forum on Italian bicycling names with their history. I am with BD on his first choice, Giro, for Giro de Italia. My favorite European stage race. Remember this is coming form a guy with a cat named Carl and an illegal Canadian alien dog named Molly. You could go with Colnago or Masi.

Best of luck and please let us know what you decide on for your pup.

Bill

^^^^ Giro was also the first thing I thought of. Our IG, Keara, would probably have been named "Magic Bus" if she hadn't already had a name when we got her.

Didn't Cipollini wear a skinsuit colored like that in some race?

You could name him after the forgotton one, Felice Gimondi. The second rider to win all 3 Major Tours. Or Marco after Pantani, I'm pretty sure Marco was pretty small, like most 'pure' climbers.

Out of all those, I'd go with Mario (and most people will associate it with video games, not bikes).

Hmm...Ravioli has a ring to it...

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I think we're going with Campy. Loved some of the others too.
