So I have some recommended rear blinkies for a Dahon rear rack. Thank you all.

Now how about the front? Can anyone recommend something that doesn't interfere with the handlebar folding function of a Dahon? The handlebar on my bike folds "into the frame fold", meaning I rotate the handlebars proper so the brake levers are vertical, and then the stem folds down against the front wheel, and then it all gets sandwiched between the two wheels when the frame gets folded.

It seems most of the good front blinkies am seeing are mounted horizontally on the top of the handlebar pointing forward, and are large enough that they'd interfere with the fold.

Blackburn makes a nice Led which attaches to the handlebars with an elastic band.
They look like a big "man ring." They come in red or white.

Avoid handlebar issues by mounting it on your helmet. Several companies make helmet mountable lights for less than $30. Or, a strap-on LED headlamp from a hardware store could serve well enough.

I found one as well. The Cateye LD150 (at https://www.cateye.com/en/product_detail/320) works on the left side of the handlebar about 2 inches from the central handlebar clamp. It points forward when the handlebar is ready to ride, and it nestles between the front wheel and the kickstand and pointing straight down when my bike is folded.

If you want to mount it to the front reflector stand (replacing the reflector, which I didn't care to do if I could avoid it), then you want the "TL-LD120/500/600 bracket" at https://www.cateye.com/store/parts.php?cid=3_113 and it works just fine.

All good ideas for a "See by" light. However, sometimes I really need to fold up within 15 seconds to catch a train (it happens more than you think!), and having to remove a light from a mount and put it into a pocket doesn't meet my requirements. Also, I just need a "Be seen" front blinky.

Should I need ride at night, I'll keep these in mind though.
