Dawes Galaxy Frame - Free to a good home, but needs some work...
I have an old Dawes Galaxy 97 frame which I used to ride to work. Both chainstays have cracked and will need replacing, and one of the rear cantilever brake bosses is missing (due to my ham-fistedness).
I can't bear to just throw it in the bin, but it's not really an economic repair for me to get done. I was hoping that a wannabee frame-builder might like to use it as a practice exercise.
Reynolds 531 tubing, 55cm seat tube (centre to centre).
(This is frame only - no forks)
PM me if you'd like it and can pick it up from Northwest London.
Ta!
