New wheels
I have 2017 Sirrus Sport. This comes with disc brakes. Due to my weight and that the wheels are likely entry-level I kept breaking spokes. The LBS replaced with a different wheel under warranty (not the same model). Mechanic said it should be ok but if not then I would need custom wheel.
I am considering building my own or buying a set. What would be better? These wheels

or building wheel with Deore XT hub (36 spoke) and DT Swiss TK540 rims? My concern with the Vuelta is they are only 32 spoke and not sure about the quality of the hubs or spokes/nipples. The XT hub is 36 spoke and I would be using DT Swiss spokes and nipples.

The wheel build sounds interesting and the Swiss rims look really nice. Good components from what little I know. What color is your Sirrus. Looks like they came in grey and white. They should look pretty cool on either. If I had given my wheels more thought, I might have built them. But, I'm not too excited about having to bring them in to get trued.

It is charcoal color. I'm also considering 650B rims but not sure if that is good idea. I would be able to run slightly wider tires and it should lower the frame slightly.

I have those wheels on my Giant Toughroad SLR 1 and couldn't be happier. They are fast and light and make the bike feels a lot better and responsive compared to the OEM wheels. No issues with them so far. I've put about 200 miles on them and no issues. I'm 5'9"/180 lbs.

Perfect timing on the wheel thread, was just going to ask about wheels for my hybrid. Those pure wheels look nice, they are not so busy looking.
