Considering Purchase - 3 yrs. old: Trek 7300 Multitrack

1) What is good price point for purchase on 3yr old Trek 7300 Multitrack advertised as being in great condition?

Owner asking 399, was 650 new.

Pros vs. Cons on this bike. Twist gear shift? Thanks!!

A little overpriced - $100 cheaper would be about right. Assuming that it is in VERY GOOD condition.

Phil, thanks for feedback!

Stretched my original budget of 200 to 250, and made offer. Wondering if I should hold out for a "better bang for buck"??

If you could get it for Three or less, and it's in top notch shape, you would do OK. Buttttt, anything above that, and you are paying too much IMO. If it needs tires, subtract $50.....
