I'm making a cycling documentary! ("Bike your city.", Kickstarter project launch)
Hi, for those of you who have not seen my posts before, the short version is: I film with a GoPro Hero 2 mostly from the forehead perspective with a lapel mic (with wind cancelling cover) mounted in my helmet for greatly improved audio quality. I also have a solar panel, and 4 batteries, and have filmed highlights from a 109 mile ride only changing batteries once.
I have been filming and blogging since March and have nearly 1,000 ad-free videos (mostly raw footage style, some montages have been created recently), and I hope to maintain my site and projects through cloud funding and "pay what you like" digital formats.
So far the only real support I have had has been from my awesome LBS (Tony's in Astoria!), and people close to me.
I am also open to sponsors if the relationship fits.
Now after many months of effort documenting NYC and beyond, I have announced my first full length project slated for March 2013.
I used a special side mount upside down camera angle for my project video keeping my face in the frame, so I can pitch to you while I show you exactly the kind of things that will be seen in the film!
Please visit the page for a lot more info, and donate if you like my film project and the rewards on offer.

Below is the project video on youtube for those of you that won't quite click the link to kickstarter yet....
"The short version of my promotional video for my first project on Kickstarter. Footage was shot on a ride from Astoria to Governors Island. With this film I hope to encourage people to explore the limits of their village, town, or city, by showing them what I have discovered in my travels around New York in 2012. www.AstoriaHD.blogspot.com (Music is the song "The Carpet" by Chenard Walcker. Permission for use of this music falls under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/)"
There is a 10 minute version on the youtube channel as well.
P.S.: Subscriptions (youtube/blogger) and likes (facebook) for my pages won't cost you a thing.
Thanks for reading!

Please can I see a picture/description of your video/recording bracket set-up.
I tried to do the same thing with a Flip camera on my helmet and my results make me motion sick.
Do you edit out bumps and extraneous movement or is it not a factor.
Thanks for any help.
