I happen to have a GT LTS2000-DS. It's been collecting dust for about 10 years , because I had a stroke, due to a blood clot. Soon, I will start to ride it again. The back fender is not part of the original bike. I traded the pedals for ones with 'baskets'. There is a neoprene cover on the back coil/shock/spring which is a red colour underneath. That was an extra thing I bought too. The chain rings & chain were replaced after about a year of use. I rode it 15km/9mi everyday [approximately] to work and back every weekday for about 2 years. I also replaced the brake pads. I added a kickstand, and put some white electrical tape between where it's clamped onto the aluminum. The flexible points that connect the grey back to the red frame have kevlar inserts. The front shocks are 'Rock Shox - Judy XL' You can't lock it up and leave it outside, because it will get stolen fast. Also it is almost entirely made of aluminum, so it's light weight but fragile.
