Why does Red go faster?
We've all heard it before... so what's your take on this saying? Scientific, Emotional, Psychological, Etherial, senseless Humor?

Still kicking.
Senseless Humor. Paint just adds weight.

Because when an object heats up, it becomes red (sometimes), which means the atoms are moving around FASTER than normal.
Makes sense?

S**t, if I had known all those tickets could have been avoided by buying a black Mustang I sure would have gotten the black one.

Red is just an enhancer. It needs to be added in small doses, otherwise the energy aura tends to be too intense and holds the bike in one place. And red ano adds no weight. Think of it as a nitrous boost-bottle .

My grey Komodo is much slower on the flat and climbs than my naked Komodo...but downhill and in the rugged terrain...naked don't fly.

Why does Red go faster?
Same reason all mtb's are now eqiupped with disc brakes.
An all Red bike with disc brakes would be da bomb. better yet- Dual Disc brakes!

Primer is porous, so it absorbs moisture from the air - - thus the extra weight slows you down. Besides, it isn't smooth so it actually has a higher drag coefficient.

White is the fastest color because when light hits your bike the photons all just bounce off, pushing you away from the light = extra speed going away from it.
That being said, it's the slowest color going uphill (going towards the sun), but the fastest in any downhill. Also a little known pro-tip, a bright light behind you always helps, that's why you ride with traffic.

My carbon mtb is faster than my red mountain bike. And my black mountain bike is very slow cause it has no wheels.

Black goes fastest. It gets hot in the sun and in turn heats up the air just in front of the bike, which reduces air resistance and so the bike goes faster.

Red is an "agressive" color. Red is most commonly used to signify danger, anger, speed (red-line) and the such..

No, no, no. You want BLACK on the front of the bike and WHITE on the rear. The front absorbs light and the rear reflects it. You will feel the boost you get from your new PHOTON drive!
