Very nice. That needs a session at the indoor BMX/4X track.
BTW, I'm seeing way too much green grass .

I do have to say, first time I rode this build I felt right at home on it, may only need to change the bars.

why do some people put saddles on those kind of bikes? wouldnt it just be more wieght that didnt serve a purpose? I mean, there is no way that i would be able to pedal sitting down.

Somewhere to sit and rest. Plus I don't think most people are too concerned about the weight of their DJ.

^Also makes for a nicer cushion than metal in the event of losing your footing when you land. I'd hate to have all my weight on my ass & be landing on a metal stub where the seat used to be..

I actually probably would train occasionally sans saddle if there were no protruding frame bits that I needed to guard myself from. Have built two 'MX-type' saddles for past bikes that were mostly just formed aluminum pans just for that purpose.

Raise the seat a little, it looks as ridiculous as a primered 1987 POS Regal with 30 inch DUBS.
I'd rather be seen riding the short bus, sorry.

There will be action shots in April when the dirt jumps open back up, unless I decide on a whim to take a camera to a skate park.
Take your xc bike with your raised saddle off of table tops or doubles, step ups or step downs and see how well you do. I think then you will understand why my saddle is slammed.
I'd rather be seen on a trek 820 than a khs.
The next part will be a trail bike, but this took 1st priority. Since it will see more use than a trail bike would for me.

Slamming a saddle has nothing to do with an appearance statement. Please don't judge until you understand the real reason behind it.
