Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Help me find a Bontrager one-piece road bar and stem.

Hey, I saw a one piece Bontrager stem and road bar in a magazine the other day, but I don't see it on the Bontrager parts web site. Does anyone know anything about it. The MSRP was something like $650. Not that I want to spring for it, but I am interested in seeing the specs. In the magazine it said it was crazy light, about 250 g or less. I'm assuming they make it in only one stem angle, and, of course, non-reversible (duh!) but I can't find it to see if I am right.

I wouldn't give up the ability to tilt my bars up or down a little bit to save some grams.

I lusted hard after this thing but it never came in -17 deg so the cc stayed in my back pocket. Fit is most important.

I just found a thread on the WW forum saying it has been discontinued/removed from the website due to manufacturing problems. May reappear at a later date.
