Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Not an option with laser etched. Fortunately, I think the logo looks pretty good.

The dealer markings in my area of the country tend to be metal with 3M VHB tape applied. Last time I watched a dealer try to take one off, he took paint with it, so understandably, I don't want one on my cars at all.

so yeah, I paid more because the dealer was willing to accommodate my requirements.

Just like i'd be willing to pay more for my bike because of one LBS's service over another.

It was a difference of less than $200 on a $40k purchase... wasn't a big deal.

Yes and no. I do not mind some of the decals but I do not like the ones that are gaudy looking. As long as they are classic looking than I am ok. If it looks like a Nascar bike, than they have to go.

What does everyone use to take off the stickers, when they are being challenging and leaving behind sticky annoying stuff?

A heat gun and WD40 does the job.

I used a blow dryer and non-acetone polish remover.

Nope never have. They don't bother me in the slightest. I've been around cars and bike for a living and recreation for many many many years and have seen plenty in both camps. Never understood the whole "no free advertising" thing but for me, I just think it looks ok so they stay.

Removed the stickers from the wheels of my Cross-Check. They looked hideous.
