Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

This involves un-taping/taping the bars and dealing with internal cable routing. That isn't difficult either, but it's time consuming. I've never bled brakes/shifters on a bicycle, but I have on cars and motorcycles and I can do either quicker than I can replace 2 brake cables and two shifter cables on a bicycle.
Maybe, maybe not. But that isn't the comparison that was offered in the post I'm quoting. It was bleeding hydraulic lines vs. adjusting cable tension. I stand by my assessment.

No cable stretching, friction, wear, contamination...Near instantaneous response, true mechanical feedback at the lever, cable routing and bends don't matter...Sounds good. Cables suck.

Bleeding hydraulics is as simple as spit. Queue luddites.

You don't bleed hydraulics to adjust them, bleeding is for service. But hey, if comparing apples with oranges makes you feel better, enjoy your day.

Don't be rude. It doesn't strengthen your position. It's not my comparison. I'm quoting someone else.

It's not a comparison of two alternatives for the same result. It is just two tasks that might have to be performed with the two different systems, like in one case you might have to this, in the other case you might have to do that.
