I can't remember. Luckily, I keep good records and looked it up.
Yes, it is a 2015 Giant Propel Advanced Pro 1, size small. It was new on 11/24/14 and has 6,036 miles on it as of this morning.
Not the original wheels. It came with 55 mm carbon wheels but I run 38s.
With the 55s the day it came home from the shop:

Casually Deliberate
This not about me, but I still feel like a right horse's patoot for stirring things up by trying to get him more involved. Also because the reason he was in my office was that we were talking about a class I'm taking which he has already taken and maybe a little bit about "Star Trek". We were becoming friends, in other words. He was invited. It sucks all the worse because everyone was so happy and hopeful on Tuesday. People are jackasses.
And, yes, I have posted about this on Facebook.

I haven't seen the small ones but yes, your second point occurred to me as well. Like in "Planes, Trains, & Autmobiles" when the woman yells "You're going the wrong way" and Steve Martin says "How does she know which way we're going?" God, I love that movie.

Vain, But Lacking Talent
One of the cars is trying to navigate out of New York City and he gets turned around on some one way streets. He finally gets turned around and starts down another street. The navigator says "man, this is a one way street, too!' And the driver responds "I am only going one way!"

My new original song Angeline has pop potential. The problem is you'd have to go to Nashville or LA and try to sell it to some suit. These are the same suits picking the songwriting that adorns the current Billboard 100. So it seems rather apparent to me that many of them wouldn't know good songwriting if it smacked them upside their music industry heads.
I can't write songs commercially. That would be like trying to continue in cycling by being a friggin bike messenger. Fail.

Vain, But Lacking Talent
Speaking of self-control, you may recall- or not, it's your option- that a few days ago I was very excited because through a series of machinations, my co-worker who needs a wheelchair was going to be able to come help at the Summer Festival. Well, now he will not be coming. My office-mate, who has never liked him, complained to her mom, who also works here, that he was "hanging out" in our office and "interfering with work". (The mom is not the boss of anything by the way and should have had no say in the matter.) At least, that is what the mother told him he needed to stop doing when she came by his office to read him the riot act. I was fully ready to go down the hall and tear somebody a new one but we decided I should wait. My friend contacted the state Vista office and our director, who is out of town for the week, and they told him not to be involved in any activities we were having here at the center until the director can talk to everyone Monday. The director sent me an email saying he had "heard there was an issue" and saying to please not add fuel to the fire by discussing it with anyone until Monday. Well, that should be easy, right? Not like it's gonna come up at all. I was furious when my friend told me what had happened and even more-so when he texted the woman who was supposed to give him a ride, she told someone else it looked like he didn't need one and the other woman- the mother who caused the issue- responded "He'll be okay. Tell him we'll tie a balloon on his chair." Are you effing kidding me?
This not about me, but I still feel like a right horse's patoot for stirring things up by trying to get him more involved. Also because the reason he was in my office was that we were talking about a class I'm taking which he has already taken and maybe a little bit about "Star Trek". Ironically, my direct boss had his brother come and work for us with the intention that it was purely temporary (he was laid of from a factory that frequently does layoffs and callbacks). He is the BEST builder we have right now. And my boss is one of the really solid people here as well. So the two people who keep their head down and get work done are the ones who are concerned with him moving on so that there is no appearance of favoritism.

The problem is they've got so very little to choose from, the talent is so thin.

And then today brought us back to our regular scheduled programming of terror and sadness.
