Openers for me this AM on the TT bike. Racing a 20k tomorrow. Supposedly with a Fredly friend who wanted to race but now he's backed out. No explanation other than he "might" show up.
Then down to Carson for a follow up TT fit. Agenda items: did we get things right with the new spacers? What can we do about my atrocious head position? And how should I have my skinsuit altered to get rid of the forearm wrinkles which are the worst thing in the worst place aerodynamically.
After the TT fit comes the pre-purchase fit. Yep. Another bike most likely. Mountain bike.
That will be 3.5 hours of time total scheduled with fitter. Fun.
And also I forgot to mention. Monday's epic ride up Mt Baldy was the 12000 mi ride for the Magic Bike. That bike was a game changer for me. Picked it up Feb 22, 2014. My first "real" bike. I love it still.

After way too much automotive malaise, I made it home in time for Riley day (bringing him home around noon today). He's the scruffy little one on the right.

The word of the day is sockdolager. That's a word that could find frequent use on this forum.

Anybody else?
Also, let me know if you experience it anywhere outside of this thread, please.

Also I never see a cancel button when replying or editing a reply. Have to back up to cancel the change.

Indeed - normal page view will scale the photo to fit horizontally, but some of the advanced/edit/quote pages will not scale down.

Damn trigeeks. Went for a morning ride, much of it along a route that follows a creek, and promptly ran in to the bike leg of a race. Couldn't ride in the street, obv, so I was forced on to the MUP which crossed the course a handful of times, each crossing amounting to a few minutes of thumb twiddling while waiting for a clearing (riders were going in both directions).

Problem is I can't replicate the problem at all right now, under any conditions. It's an intermittent problem.

You can paste a video directly into a post now, don't need an "insert video" button.

The biggest problem that I have at the moment with the board is if I quote, the reply box goes micro small on me. I'm using the desktop version with an iPad so that's probably the problem but I never had it before the upgrade.

I have, thought I was being blocked from responding for some reason, maybe a secret ban or a conspiracy against stoney.
The dialog box is there but at times, the two little boxes at the bottom, submit reply and preview post are absent. Not sure I see any pattern, just pops up that way and goes away at others.

We did 48 miles at 19.0 mph. Little fast for this fat old man.

As you all know, I ride a trike from time to time for fun and have for any years. Its a nice diversion from chasing rear ends in a pace line which I get way too much of. I've found the trike community to be some of the nicest people around but I'm re-thinking it after posting the following pic to the Catrike group on Facebook....
I ask all these as I am having more problems with neck pains. Also, I have had several spills onto my artificial hips, none of which has created any problem more that a hematoma and abrasion, but worry the consequences could be so much worse. I am taking care of a guy now with a very large open wound who fell, breaking his hip around the artificial hip, subsequent repair followed by infection, removal of hip from infection , placement of antibiotic spacer, failure of spacer and removal, continued infection, placement of antibiotic beads and now will most likely never walk again. And his fall was less traumatic than the several I have had on the bike.
