Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Hello all,

can someone tell the difference between the two locks mentioned in the subject?
Thanks!

Try the Company website? https://www.abus.com/eng/Mobile-Secu.../Folding-locks

Biggest difference there is a 6500, https://www.abus.com/eng/Mobile-Secu...IT-X-Plus-6500 their heaviest, most secure version ( Own one )

There is no 6400. It does not exist.

6500 is the good one, hard to break, hard to cut, with a good lock mechanism that isn't easily picked.

It works great, endures freezing temps, rain and heat - been using it for years.

I used a 6500 before, it was pretty solid and served me well for couple of years before i started bringing my bike into the office

The 6400 is an older version, now discontinued. It's still available all over the place in the EU, though, often on clearance.
The 6500 is pretty much the same, but has more of the rubbery coating.
