That is the same number that I adhere to for red. We drink mostly white up to maybe 4 years old and keep about 250 bottles of red that we "harvest" at around 10 years past vintage date.

If you like Italian reds, especially Tuscans, I highly recommend WTSO.com. They offer many superb Tuscan reds continually, some more every day. No tax and free shipping if you buy the minimum of each offering. The minimum usually adds up to 1-4 bottles that total $70-100. So that would be one $90 bottle or three if the price is $30nand so on. They won't ship to Texas, so I send my orders to my MIL's house in New Orleans and pick them up when we visit there. WTSO means Wine 'til Sold Out. The offers are time limited. When the allotment is sold in maybe a 1/2 hour or so, then the next offer pops up on your email. Good values. They have just run through a large number of 2010 and 2011 Brunellos and are now offering mostly the 2O12s. Also Chiantis and Super Tuscans. And Barolos and Barbarescos from Piemonte. Of course many other varieties from other places.

Concrete ..? Well made I don't have the answers you are looking for about the lights. I told you I like them and that is the only reason i need to justify buying what I do. I am not going to try and make a case about one light or wheel from another because as I said, i buy what i want anyways.. You are one of those ones that would challenge anything i would say anyways and no need to get in a spat over cycling equipment..

Quite honestly I really don't know why they are about double what you would pay for a set of Reynolds RZR's or Zipp 454NSW's. I now own all three brands and can I really tell by looking if there is much difference..? No I can not ..Are they better..? Who knows..Will they make me faster..? No Will they make be crank out more watts..? Nope...Will they give me pleasure to use and ride with..? Yes...I am sure marketing and brand name has a lot to do with price...

Out of curiosity...why? I get that a lot is produced there, etc. but is there another reason? Not disagreeing...just very curious. I have a lot of friends that live in LA and SF and they are exactly as you describe.

Well. California is a yuge agricultural state to being with. But, wine has been produced in this state since the Spanish Jesuits introduced vineyards in the 1600s. Then came, basically, two more big explosions of production in the 1850s and 1960s, which occurred in the Napa Valley. It is a fascinating story, filled with tons of interesting history and personalities. Now, the United States is the world's 4th largest wine producer after Italy, Spain, and France; and the lion's share of this production comes from California.

So, I guess wine has become not only of agricultural and economic significance to California but cultural as well, perhaps, now, as deeply ingrained in us as it is with the Europeans.

I have to say the concept of owning all those bikes and wheels seems more like hoarding. I enjoy fine things but really question the need for such quantity. I truly question the reality and wonder about fraud and trolling.

Looking through some more of the Meilenstein Lightweight Catalog and notice that the Meilenstein Lightweight Obermayer (Tubular) Schwarz Edition have a total combine weight of 975 grams for the set and is Meilenstein's lightest set of "Factory Stock" Wheels they make..These sure seem like they would make a lovely set of wheels for those steep climbs...975 Grams seems like that is really getting down there for a set of wheels....! These come in the ceramic bearing configuration..
