I've got some free space. I have a 36GB drive and a 60GB drive with minimal stuff on them.

I need the space *and* somebody with a FAST upstream who is willing to seed - it looks like my ISP is rate-limiting bittorrent traffic. Anybody with 5Mbps or more?

The Torrent isn't working for me either. I've got plenty of hard drive space and am willing to leave a machine running to help the sharing of this content. Thing is, I'm on a cable modem at home (fast down, slow up). Funny that cable modem up is slow for today... My first modem in college was a 300bps job that the phone handset plugged into.

No torrent my friend. No seeds and 4 leechers = no go area. I have a 2mbps connection but the housemates wouldn't be too happy if I started large-scale uploading. However, I can trickle some to back up. I got about 120GB free at the mo, but another 50 or so at home (I'm at uni) so feel free to use it.
I really want a copy of that though, sounds like a good deal to me.

Yeah, but he's on about sharing the load so that we all open an FTP port to share the bit that we have. If one person has the whole lot then yeah, we would be ok, but I don't think that's going to happen yet. I suppose you could just download a bit then burn it to DVD then get a bit more etc...

Any possibility of opening up the individual files as torrents? My hard drive is only 20 gigs, and only 8 of that is usually used for downloading. Then it's burned to CD. I could seed some stuff for awhile if it was in smaller chunks...

OK, Since our previous attempts went... well... not so well... are their any Unix and Windows based p2p programs that you could share this file on? I use Ares Galaxyhttps://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/aresgalaxy/aresregular190_installer.exe?download\
This is a kick ass p2p program. Works great. You essentially throw the files in the program"s shared folder and give us (me) the file name to search for.

^^ hope not. It should be resumed today I would imagine.
Why did the torrent fail so miserably? There were no seeds, which is odd if the OP's computer was on. I reckon give that another try.

We should definitely work on getting the torrents going again. I can download at 600KB/sec and upload at 50KB/sec. I'd be happy to get a torrent seeded.
