Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I vote dgasmd. He's considering a new bike, already has a Look, and has the money. It could be the hottest bike on this forum with the right wheels.

It seems like they only have L and M. Not small enough for him.

ENVE wheels are about as exciting as a Cervelo...as in not. Maybe an R5ca but that's about it.

If I was selling my car for a bike, it would be one of those aero frame Parlees. Either that or I would just stick to my plan and put a Scapula F on my S2.

Correct, but obviously a different parts group. That selection of parts on such a great bike is just unfortunate.

That bike is tits. Like the front brake idea. I assume the rear brake is also integrated in the BB area.

Yes on both accounts. It's pretty cool, but I think the Scapula F is even cooler.

So many assumptions there I wouldn't know where to begin. I thought about this LOOK actually, but as much as I like it, I cannot see what in it would be a step up from the 595 Ultra model. I like lugged frames (this is not), I prefer to use the Campagnolo crank (not a choice here), I prefer TIME pedals (could here but frameset already supplied with LOOK pedals), and this is a rather heavy frame comparatively speaking. Also, this frame as an integrated internal cable system like the 595 that would be a royal PITA to get rid of to integrate the internal cables of Di2 or EPS not to mention that it would void the warranty on the frame. NO NO for me as I would go to something that was already read for EPS. Lastly, this frame does nothing for me at all aesthetically. It almost looks like a Specialized frame, which I can't stand the looks of it despite their performance characteristics.

Going from the 595 Ultra to this frame, I see it as a lateral if not slightly downward move.
