Making a kilometer blurry
+1 nice work
Yep, shooting about 10 feet into the shadow of a bridge or tunnel with a harsh sun will really give you some amazing light without flash. Really nice for portraits if you're looking for a gritty urban background. I might have tried shots at a couple different heights, because that blown out bit would be above the wheel from a bit higher. Still a great shot.
Agreed. That's a fine bike there too.
I like the look of that. Quick? Make with some Strava, power file...
Nice photo. Beats a garage door any day. Now I'm sure someone on here will critique the photo, but speaking as a professional photographer, I love the image. The front wheel is blown out and there's some things not perfect, but hey! It works. Nice shot. In fact, I'm not blown away with the bike, but the photo is good enough I'd say HOT! lol...

With that, you could go pretty much wherever you wanted.
One time, some old guy pulled up next to me at a light and asked why I didn't ride on the damn sidewalk. My reply was, "Because I'm not 12 and on a Huffy."

Ok, but in fairness, I used to always wonder the SAME thing. 'Why endanger yourselves on the road when there's a perfectly good sidewalk that NO ONE is using??" Then I started biking and figured out why after 1/2 block on the sidewalk. So, I don't blame them for thinking that. Perfectly reasonable if you've never ridden a road bike...

It looks like he used an HDR option on a cell phone or something. Maybe not but it appears to have some sort of photo processing.

Don't have a whole bike that counts as hot in this company, but here's a pretty hot little detail shot (aside from the 14g spokes) I took of a successful experiment...
Got a couple of sweet old 36h 600 hubs I was wondering what to do with, and since they're not meant to be cut out for radial lacing, that limits the options... but I bet they can handle a bit of torque between the flanges
Now to get hold of a couple of 18h AeroHeads.
IMO the clothesline brake cable detracts from it.
