Tried the new Ultralite Cirris Ti pedals (112g for the pair, including cleats) but never could get comfortable with the clip in/out….replaced with Speedplay Zeros.

Can’t do much about the stack as Mario’s fleet are designed with very aggressive geometry, so this is about as low as I can go. Very smooth and compliant ride.

I got rid of the red stripe on mine by using a cut thinner piece of electrical tape on top. Looks pretty much the same and I can remove it at any time.

(Stem will drop a bit as I dial in fit and excess will be chopped. Front skewer is on the wrong side because it interferes with the brake. I am also considering blacking out the giant white logos on the tires and removing the decals from the Woundup fork.)

I like this a lot, especially for a Cannondale. Minor nitpicks are battery placement, and wondering why you mixed new rings with previous generation crank arms. Looks ready to roll hard.

My 87 Bianchi Campione d'Italia. A bit older than a lot of the bikes in this thread but I think she's pretty hot. Just got the new saddle to match the bar tape today. Some parts original (derailleurs, wheels, crank), replaced brakes with dual pivot Campy Centaur calipers and levers with aero style. Saddle is a Soma Kamisori. I think the stem was replaced by the previous owner, but not sure.

What's the consensus, hot or not?

I'm going to go not on this one. Mostly because of the cheap pedals (a bike of this vintage really needs some nice campy pedals and clips). Saddle looks a little forward with a too short stem. I loved that bike though and used to see it at the shop I worked at, it's a shame that all of the old steel frames just look a little ugly in such large sizes (compared to new bikes with fat tubing that look bad in small sizes and great in large ones). So much so that those wheels don't even look round. optical illusion perhaps?

Still it has potential!

All the other recent bikes I'd give a hot to.

Fair enough. On the pedals, I didn't want clip pedals yet since I'm in the city and a relatively new rider. Being somewhat locked in when stopping relatively often seems dangerous for my inexperienced ass.

Any recommendations on pedals?

mehhhh...I might look back at it, just to see what it was, but I dont LOVE it.

Hot bike but I dont like the red bars. I think acetone to remove the labels all together or the stealth black option would be better. Even though the frame has red, the front looks heavy with red and the back with minimal. the way it sits now, it looks unbalanced to me.

Agreed, the seatpost need a matching 3T red stripe

+1, most definitely lacking some LV. Angle of the photo more in line with perpendicular to the frame would help too.
