Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Some awesome bikes in this thread.

My '09 5

I just changed the bar tape to red, added Rival brakes since the return spring on my front Tektro Caliper decided not to open again, and ordered a Premium fork. The plan is to have installed a full Rival group by September. Maybe then I will take another picture once all the mods are complete.

Sixteen point six pounds with full Ultegra and some Dura Ace(BB, cassette, FD). Carbon fork is only 297g. Going full Dura Ace 7800 will make it a UCI-friendly 15 pounder:

Does Alpha Q have a fork compatible with the Canondale integrated headset or did you have to change the headset?

Thanks

Here is my CAAD9-4 I got last week. Yes, I now know that there are many things wrong with this picture as it relates to the standards of this forum. However, I haven't taken other pics yet. The reflectors have been removed, still haven't flipped the stem, and the bag will stay until I take the next pic.
