You might actually run into knee-bar clearance issues like that. I suggest:
1. Take it to a shop and have them fit you.
2. Take it to a shop and have them fit you.
They will be able to correctly lower the bars if thats where you want your position to be.
Don't take this thread too seriously.....its just a bunch of interweb jack-tards who say "bikes must be 'x,y,and z' and anything outside that is non-sense"
If you know what your doing, and want to be lower, take off your stem and flip it so it's angled down (as opposed to up).....
....And for every minute you have your bars like that, god kills a kitten. This is doubled for going out in public like that.

Yep they are side loaders. The previous owner put those on. Meh they look OK to me. Not sure what you mean by the bars. Don't all CAAD 10s have these bars.. unless they are modded.

I don't know. I just don't like the shape. I prefer a more compact bar that doesn't look like 3/4ths of an oval.

The bars that he has are the stock bars. I have them too, and they're not terrible. I don't like them when I'm the in drops for any extended period of time, but I just don't have the money to switch them to FSA Wing Pros yet.

I graduated from Jack-wagon University in Jack-tardville. They taught me to say "IMHO that's another Cannondale that's not hot"

The EVO, damn something about it just... I really like it. HOT. Even without matchy matchy anything really. Damn.
The Calfee. Not. Never use Easton cockpit bits. They have the ugliest post/stem/bars. Then change the saddle to black and you're golden. I love Easton's new wheel decals though, loud enough to be noticeable, quiet enough to not be loud.

Finds 26mm compact bars, tries to set them up like classic bends ...
Also saddle all the way forward, shorty stem on a *big* frame with plenty of seat post ... t-rex's bike ?
The "before" is hotter ... 400$ crank or not.
