Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Oh ok, I see. The shop I ordered from did a couple measurements. He measured me at a 43w. I'm glad that I bought a used pair while I was waiting for my customs because the 43 didn't fit at all. Sold those and bought another used set, this time a 44.5w and they were slightly too large. Had to change my order twice. Settled on a 44, so I'm hoping they fit!

Good grief. Another SRAM owner with chain dropping, even with built in chain catcher SRAM failing. They really ought to fix that FD considering the price they charge for them.

Warm. I bet it's a great ride. I'd like to see it with the stem flipped and black (or silver?) bar tape.

I just put that bar tape on this weekend. Not sure I like it either. I had the stem flipped at one point, but it was just not comfortable.

Flip the stem, get a longer stem, move the seat forward a bit and change the bar tape. Something about the shifters and bar angle don't look right to me but that's your preference I suppose. I give it a warm.

I think the bike does have some saving graces. It's a diamond in the rough but doesn't deserve a "not" to me. Maybe I'm too nice for these kinds of threads.

Ultra-HOTTT... even with the fuzzy foto. I think the next non-beater bike I get will be a Crumpton. I'm jealous, that looks beautiful, can't imagine how great the paint will look in person.

Waiting for more pics when you get it in your possession, plus a report on how it rides...

You mean in a professional studio-like environment with the right lighting? Or just without pedals?

Yes I had it covered by recovered saddles. My butt never got used to the bare carbon and believe me I tried.
