Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

that giant's so hot it even defies the laws of "hot or not" staging.

To be honest, this bike defys a lot more than staging for me. I don't usually like the giant propel. I generally hate seeing white saddle with black bar tape or white bar tape with black saddle. I'm usually not a huge fan of gum wall tires. It has to be just right for me to like the look. The chain is not staged. Wheels aren't staged and background isn't great...

That being said, this bike is smoking hot to me. Defys all that I would normally pick on but it just works for me. Sweet freaking ride.

thanks guys, i'm pretty happy with the overall look of the bike. I was back and forth with the black bartape, but because of the seat mast and black bordering around the saddle, it sort of all worked well. Considering that my handle bars are mostly black with the white top.

I am not seeing it in the white giant....not sure why...Maybe the frame comes across as being a plain piece of paper to me. It is a nice bike though

Yes, Top of Mt. Rubidoux, the other pic, is close to Hidden Valley Wildlife Preserve, where the SART begins to go North East.

I personally would have gone with black saddle and tape, but I can still dig it.
