I CLIC interchangeable?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I CLIC interchangeable?

Are I CLIC cleats the same whether they are from Mavic or Time? I have Mavic Zxellium pedals on my current bike, but want something silver or white for the one that's being put together now and am considering a set from Time (xpresso 6). The are both I CLIC and it would be great if I could use the same shoes & cleats for both bikes.

I believe they are, Time xpresso cleats are the same too.

I had the old I-clic racers and now the xpresso 2's. I-clic bearings wore out pretty fast and I cracked several of those red cleats. The Xpressos have held out pretty good so far and the black cleats seem like more durable(I think it was mentioned somewhere they reinforced them at some point). It seems like a fine lightweight and cheap system now.

If there was any doubt, I can confirm that Time xpresso and Mavic zxellium are indeed compatible/interchangeable, cleats-wise. Picked up new bike on Friday with the Time pedals and current shoes with the Mavic cleats clipped right in (had another pair of shoes (with cleats from abandoned Look pedals still on them) if they hadn't worked).
