Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

As a follow-up, what does it say about us that the pet crematorium just bought Christmas lunch for the entire hospital?!

I sold the Honda a couple of months ago. Next year I will be on an 09 ZX6R. I won a free year of track days at Mid-Ohio so I plan on making the most of them.

Here is a photo of my two current bikes.

Hey, that's pretty damn cool. Point it up for 650b, point it down for 26".

Is that brake pad on upside down, though? What's up with that?

That picture of the VO bike makes me want to put drop bars on the Mesa. Too bad I already have everything set up for flat bar.

I think I got a Christmas card from one of @rjones28 relatives. Well, maybe it was more like he and 30 other people signed a card that I received.... Either way, it's all good.

I have been riding a lot and with the recent rain, more time on the rollers and trainer. I did 4 hill climb races and a time trial in SoCal over the last couple of months.

I renewed my racing license and my racing age next year is double 6. Arn't racers that old my grandfather? Oh well. Time marches on.

Colorado is being sued by Oklahoma and Nebraska. That will radically change all my travel destinations in the future....

I crack myself up. It was not possible to type the above statement with a straight face.
