detour around Big Sur

Hello,

I'm looking for a detour around Big Sur because of all the fires which has also closed a big section of Highway 1. Maybe Highway 1 will be open by 7/10 but I think it still might be better...

Like Raybo, I've always been too scared to ride Devil's Slide section between Pacifica and Montara. I've always taken highway 92 instead. Somehow 92 seems less scary. Mornings are probably better...

I saw someone put down Vasco Rd. Sadly it isn't as good as it used to be. They don't sweep the shoulder very often (if at all) and rumble stripped it too. Otherwise it rocked. Nice mellow left...

Yes I ride up Diablo about once a year, but for me a better ride is around Diablo along Morgan Territory. Also since I live iN San Francisco I tend to ride more in Marin than in the East Bay.
