I'm really impressed with the brightness of my Dinotte Quad and would recommend it. But, please note the battery run times on the web (as of this writing) are VASTLY overstated. Dinotte knows this,...

I've reached 53mph and wanted to break 60mph, but because I now live in the flatlands of central TX, I'm sure my top speed will be below 40mph.

Anyone know if a vintage Trek 770 will take 28c tires?

Hi all,

There is a Trek 770 on ebay that looks interesting. It has what was Trek's race geometry. Does anyone know whether it will fit 700 x 28 tires? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

Rsharp,

I'm in Texas. I might be interested in a frame swap if I can't get the Trek 400 above. Can you tell me the serial number of the Trek 420, so I can look up the exact size? Thanks.

For what it's worth, I took this as a sarcastic joke...perhaps a poor one, but a joke indeed. If it was not, then kini62 is clearly WAY off the mark.

Thanks everyone for the fast replies. It's especially nice knowing someone with the same frame has made 10-speed work! This is an awesome forum!
