Just got a new chain and it seems to be coated with a thin layer of grease. Am I suppose to wash this off and relube it or do just use it as it is? Also, is dishwashing liquid okay for cleaning...

Look up the Specialized Hardrock. It's a pretty good bike around the same price as this one.

I put a spacer (1/16th of an inch) through the quick release inbetween the hub (left side) and the frame. I guess it solved the problem.

Are DT Swiss Cerit Hubs comparable to Shimano Deore XT hubs? I can't find anything on Cerit hubs online. The only thing I found was that it comes stock on some mid-range FS Giant bikes.
