QBP Travel Agent

Does anybody use these? I am having a hard time setting them up and getting rid of the mushiness with the road levers. What has been your experience?

For all the years that I rode fixed I always used brakes. I also had a big gear like a 53x15 or 17. Is skidding easy to do with a larger gear. What is the technique? Do I just lean forward far...

Thanks for the input. I have two sets of bars to use. I think I will use on set to flip over and hack the ends off. If I don't like it I'll go back to track drops.

handle bars

I have seen a wide variety of handle bars on fixies. Can anybody make a good argument as to which style is best or is it personal preference? I am leaning toward the cowhorn style.

powder coat cracking

Has anybody out there with a powder coated steel frame experienced cracking in the powder coat due to frame flex? The guy who is sandblasting my frame said to be aware that that could happen.

hub lockrings

I know everybody recommends using a lockring with the track cog on a converted freewheel hub. But after putting in a spacer for chain alignment there isn't enough room on the threads for a lockring...

I used to know a guy who rode a 57x13 or 14 all the time, even up 15% grades. I used to ride a 52x14 for longer rides.
