you the fork that you are buying is a shorter steer tube and if you ever get a fork with a long steer tube just get spacers and never cut down a steer tube cause if you decide to sell the fork it...

my hayes nine does that on my norco six it is fine the brakes are new it just needs some wearing out once you use the brakes alot it will nto rub against the pads.
