When push comes to shove, if I have to do a curb, I will ride down over one at a 90 degree angle, but I will usually stop and lift the trike up the curb.

I too seldom have to worry about riding either up or down curbs. Almost all the sidewalks and bike paths in Lincoln have handicap ramps.

Maybe I am an exception, but I do not encounter the need of climbing or dropping over curbs. Even almost all the sidewalks in Lincoln have a ramp that was put in for the handicapped.
