I just got a Synapse 48cm . I'm 5 6 30 inseam...

I just got a Synapse 48cm . I'm 5 6 30 inseam and the 51 cm Synapse felt too long and unyielding to me. Handling was much more natural with th 48cm. I am going against all rules of bike fitting....
