I can relate. The same thing basically made me stop racing. I'm not gonna take supplements every 15 minutes during a race.

You can ride every day. Many of us do. Just listen to your body - If you start hurting, take a day off here and there. There is no real black and white standard. Many over-think this.

Maybe it just gets boring for them? I am no where near a TDF pro, but get bored every couple of years and switch what type of racing I do.

If I had to choose between a fatbike and an entry level 29er, the fatbike is probably a better trail bike. I'll keep riding my Spec Epic in the summer, but the fatbike does get much use when...

I basically sold my road bike and replaced it with a rigid 29er that is set up more for gravel/bike paths then hardcore off road trails. With that bike I can ride on the dirt shoulder if the road is...

    Mick Rogers?

In this new, cleaner sport - it seems like they still struggle to find clean steaks...

The Vuelta has always been my favorite - It seems more like a bike race, instead of a group ride.

  16. Lace Stans ZTR Crest rims to my stock Epic Hi Lo hubs?

Has anybody done this? With Specialized using the 142+ rear spacing, your rear hub options are limited (without adjusting the rear der each time you change wheels).

I would not be afraid of a used bike. There really isn't much too them - as long as the fork and shock hold air and aren't leaking oil, there isn't much to be afraid of. Pivot bearings are cheap...

I'm not worried about the head tube failing. I only modified the frame about 1/2" from the top and bottom. If either end fails, it will act like riding a bike with a bad headset - might be tough to...
