best news in weeks!
yes, it'll be just fine.
from the department of "trispokes are too flexy for sprinters to ride".....:p
yup - I've used it quite a lot when working on pursuit stuff -
actual testing will always trump projections - but it has certainly gotten me into the ballpark on several things.
Awwww maaaaaan, that was pretty well without exception the most fun night of racing of the entire summer the 3-4 years I got to do that series.
color me jealous.
At this point I've raced 200m, 250m, 333m, 400m.... they all work fine.
Gearing certainly varies, tactics vary a ton (eg, try taking a lap on a 400m), but the 200m in Burnaby seems to work just...
can certainly be done - not 100% ideal, but works better than folks seem to think.
that headed in the wrong (size) direction - saw your post on one of the other selling forums and got stoked till I read the fine print. :/
I use vegan protein powder (pea based), but I've never noticed a significant protein deficit or side effects from it in my life.
42.5, but what I want is a pair of Pistas (with the sweet laces & cover), not a model Ale is listing on their site :/
got a link to that sale? I'm into their shoes.
you guys wanna see a good bike throw? local hot stuff knows how to ride a bike, and it shows per the finish of today's stage:

Most of the last 5 years, yeah.
Sometimes (usually work related) it isn't especially tenable, but yeah - it's great.
I've got a 6800 crankset that I'd convert - and I still may - dunno.
But if Contador/Sagan can win races on an FSA SRM, I think that I'll likely be able to suffer through using one.
iiiiiinteresting. Thank you for the info - I'd love to hear more about it if you want to type it all out.
Ah - good to know.
See, thing is - I know that I can buy a used SRM for +/-1K, swap...
It's a bit spendy still - 1K if you own your own crankset, and then there's setting magnet up on the frame, so it's not THAT easily portable from one bike to the next.
Another concern I have -...
I get this aching, actually painful soreness in my gums - even when I consciously keep my mouth open so I don't grind my teeth.
but Someone is always going to get stuck w/ the Rudy helemt ;)
another one - it's been a bit since Hunter's "Training w/ a PM" 2nd ed came out - I noticed this one came out recently, "Training w/ Power Meters" by Passfield/Hayles - anyone seen it or have...
just came over here to say this- glad to see our man on the spot has it covered.
The bikes and gear he occasionally posts for sale is another indicator.
The finish to Stage1 in Tour of Poland was intensely technical - to the point where I'm wondering if they broke the "final turn too close to the finish line" rule.
Anyway - the last couple of k...
right then - there's a variety of SRM PM6s on the 'bay right now (the ones with the lobed shapes by the chainring bolts), some of which are pretty inexpensive.
Am I recalling correctly that those...
built out a section of the garage at the new place, organized the parts/trainers/bikes, charged up various electronic thing-ies, ate poorly and little today.
guess I'll just estimate my TSS for...
good work - keep after it.
indeed - and many shops are now charging more to work on current-gen-and-going-forward TT bikes - having been one of the souls doing the work - don't complain.
It truly takes your shop much longer...
