The turnout was pretty good tonight. Probably 40 or so riders plus two guys on skateboards w/ only two wheels. Photo courtesy of slvoid and his steady hands.

Nah, bought it from Tony directly. Bought it complete and later swapped out the handlebars and seatpost. The stock seatpost was fine, I just wanted more bling. Their complete bikes are perfectly fine, but if you want to personalize yours w/ NJS or Campy track stuff, I'd just order a frameset and maybe some wheels.

Bikes: 1982 Lotus Legend (steel-frame touring bike); 1982 Fuji S10S (converted to a singlespeed: 46x16); Specialized Crossroads hybrid (the child taxi).

I might be up for the moonlight ride.
If I'm not there at 9, will I be able to find you all? I gather it's not going to be confined to the loop. . . .

It goes off into the paths pretty quickly. They *usually* leave a little late.

So I'm heading over to Lincoln Center for an amazing swing/jazz band for Midsummer's Night Swing on Friday (7-10) and then heading over to the CP night ride (will actually be sweeping this time around). Anyone coming?

lol nope, I don't believe so; this trip I am decompressing before a very stressful four days of trade shows and seminars on both coasts - not up for the 51st First Date, although I am looking forward to my return - things may be looking up in that department.

Is there a battery version of that HID light?

You mean like an HID that runs on D cells? Nope. But if you get the Li-Ion version, the battery's lighter and lasts longer.
