taxi cab ride to LBS....
...$10. Ride home on new Trek 7.5 FX....priceless! It was a tough decision after test riding the Giant Escape ( not sure of the model# on that one ). I am a newbie and just went for the color I liked the best. lol ( I hope to learn more on this forum, however ).
p.s. The position of the gear shifting levers ( if that's what they are called ) seemed better on the Trek, but I am not sure if this was due to the assembly process, or what. The Giant did seem to have a more comfortable saddle, however. Anyone know anything or have any comments about either of these bikes?
