That is one sick-looking bike... wow! I'm not so interested in aesthetics normally, and I don't like curved tubes normally, but that is just an amazing looking bike:

The front disc (EDIT: drum) brake looks really nice to me. A great idea for reliable braking in my opinion.

Hey moxfyre

+1 that thing is “off the chain”. I think the copper plated version with the white tires is the bomb.

The front brake is a front drum brake! Very cool idea.

I wonder if the downward slant would have any effect.

The Conti I posted is completely perfect in every way (in my eyes). The only two bikes that comes close in beauty to the Conti is TNCLR's Casati and 12XU's Mercian.
IMO, the Miche Supertype seatpost needs to be silver to match the stem. Otherwise, extremely well put together.

I wonder if they are designed at the angle to give geometry adjustability. If you put the hub at the end of the dropouts it would make the entire bike steeper.

Of all the modern bikes, I like this one the most.

I like this BK much better than the all black one:

What is the deal on the purple tomassini? It was found in the garbage? I too think that the Conti is a beauty and I've had that in my "Cool Bikes" folder for ages, along with these.

i am not sure how the heck i'd find it (other than looking through the past 12 months of FGG) but i always loved the photo of that blue bike on the asphalt where the owner photoshopped out what was holding it up... anyone have that? (possibly the owner?)

^ I think that was one of the points of the photo.. that photo's really confusing to me, some kid likes riding his fixie on flooded streets? And the guy in the back.. why is he exposing his stomach? Looks like he has a sports bra.

For real? The guy has his shirt half on because it is hot outside and you don't have air conditioning to conter said effect? The pictures is cool because it has kids that are happy and are also holding a god damn sweet bike. The water out of the ass is amazing as well.

regarding the bike in the first post:
i don't know who built it or for who but it's definitely for breaking a paced speed record..
i don't know what attempt this bike is from but Jose Meiffret rode a very similar bike to a record at 109.2mph in 1951

i guess they flipd the fork around to get the bike as stable as they could at high speeds

regarding my fav bike:
often i get confused by people gushing over beautiful bikes at a distance without actually ggetting to see the workmanship and details up close...
but this is one of my most favorite bikes; it really has lines that speak from a distance:
