sugino mighty competition measurements

I've seen some conflicting numbers on these cranksets (although seemingly everyone agrees that they're 171 mm in length) and was about to get a pair, so some questions...

Are these strictly a road double? I've seen Mighty Comps (or similar looking Sugino cranks) advertised as "track."

What is the BCD?

What size pedals do they accept? I've seen 9/16" listed.

Is 171 mm the only length they came in?

Thanks!

Sugino super mighty road doubles version were popular back in the 80's and early 90's.
No there is also a track version which is widely available currently.

Let's see BCD is 144mm....

They accept normal 9/16" sized pedals.

No, they come in 165, 167.5, 170, 171, and 172.5mm.

I have 2 Sugino Mighty Comp road cranksets which are 144 bcd and 165mm length, and used to own a Fuji Finest from the early 1970's which had Sugino cranks that were 144 bcd and 171mm length. I also have Sugino track chainrings (1/8" thick), which are 151 bcd to fit my Campy Record Pista cranks from the early 1970's, so Sugino did at one time make track cranksets in 151 bcd, but I don't know if they ever made road cranksets in that bcd.
