Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

One thing about doing this is that you really want to have anything on the bars in it's place as you can't change things as easily as you cold with tape.

eh, if you throw on some black bar tape it might not look that bad. it's at least an interesting place to add a splash of color.

also i'm digging the concor, the only other saddlesi think look better are kashimax aeros or 4Ps but i hear they are pretty uncomfortable.

I got the frame off of craigslist and built it up. The bike shop across from my apt is selling the same frame as a "Summit Track"; can't find any other info on it.

I like it, when everyone is on campus it can be a little hard riding from class to class, it gets ridiculous. Plus parking blows on campus, only 15k parking spots I believe and well over 40k people on campus, the bike comes in handy.

Sorry for the OT.

Looks good. That's about as much as I'd be willing to spend on a Vilano, given that I have one and can see that the frame is pretty cheap. I bought mine as a frameset only and built it up entirely with existing parts for $54, and don't expect to spend a dime more.
