Formula hub locknut broken

yes, i overtightened it

I know i have seen an upgrade replacement for it but i can't find it on the normal stores i buy from.


this is the oem part that is broken:

Any help finding that upgrade part would be much appreciated

i actually just broke mine... funny that you mentioned it

why don't you just order it from ben's? seems a bit pricey tho

about to go to my LBS to see if they have a better price than 4$

theres no "upgrade" replacement part, just buy a few to keep on hand...

I know i have seen the stronger version of the part somewhere online before and i would like to upgrade if its possible to prevent this from happening again.

LBS is the way to go. Even a high LBS mark up (although unlikely for nuts and bolts), would be minimal compared to high shipping prices online....

yea, i just bought a new lock nut and track nut, both for 1$ US... affinity rocks

It was hard as hell for me to locate a fomula locknut locally, finally found one at a shop that was a little more ssfg specific than the others.

If there is an upgrade out there I would also be interested to know of it.
