Hatta Swan BB spindle and crank question.
I have a Hatta Swan R9400 bottom bracket.
The cranks in the pictures are Sugino 75.
Before, I had Sugino RDs on the same BB, and they would slide in a bit further toward the BB shell.
With the Sugino 75 cranks it seems that they don't slide on quite as deep.
Is that normal? Shouldn't they both fit on their similarly?

My 75s on a JIS spindle look the same. I don't know if that's bad or just not optimal.

75's are ISO and depending on who you ask r9400's are ISO as well, so technically they are fully compatible with each other. however, the r9400 might have some sort of unique taper on it since people have had success using JIS and ISO cranks.
as long as your chainline is straight, that small of a gap is fine. if your chainline is off, just find a new spindle.

Not sure if Hatta R9400 is JIS or ISO. I always thought it's ISO, since it's so common with Sugino 75 cranks.

Something is wrong. Your adjustable cup is screwed in too far and there is no lockring. And yes, it is ISO with a 109mm spindle length, same as the Sugino 75 BB.
