Me and a friend went out riding fixed to downtown today; we got pulled over by a motorcycle cop. Luckily for me I was on my commuter but unfortunately for him he got a correction ticket for having no brakes. However lucky for him is the officer wrote his driver's license number wrong, we'll see in a week with a phone call if the ticket went through.

On another note, my wife bought me one of these:

It's for "bobble" bottles (with the built in suction filter at the top) but it works a charm with large water bottles; no more needing to throw away dirty bottles!

I still don't understand why getting a bike ticket should have anything to do with your driver's license.

Yeah, the drivers license number is the same as the ID number, at least in California. I figure you'd be able to get away with saying a wrong number though. Not everyone bikes with their driver's license on them. I know my ID number, but I could have misspoke a digit...

how do you like the "bobble?" do you think it's a worthy investment?

I don't use one; I've heard of them a long while back through and even scored one when they were promoting it in downtown SF while I still worked there. I ended up giving to my wife who used it for awhile, she say's it's cute, honestly it's more oriented toward our feminine counterparts and there's no bottle rack that can contain its hourglass girth.
Like I said before, the design facilitates for a suction action from the mouth to draw water through the filter and out the opening into your mouth. Baby training bottle much?

I got pulled over a couple weeks ago, for not signaling a left turn (from a turn lane) onto a one way street....And he wanted to run my info too. Didn't have anything but my school ID and my debit card in my shirt pocket. He took my name, address, stuff like that. Called the campus PD too to double check my bike registration # haha. He then proceeded to tell me he was going to write me two tickets, and then changed his mind all of a sudden.

Today I'm contemplating buying a Mash jersey. $110 bucks but 1,000,000,000 hipster points . Should I buy the Histogram jersey:

Or the Color Histogram jersey:

I like the color Histogram better.

You shouldn't buy the one you like better. Why would you do that?
