Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

That is a super cool bike. Please tell us more about it.

Here is a review of one set up for Monster CX gravel racing with Shimano Alfine 11 speed Di2 belt drive. The fork mounted lights on this thing are sublime.

Would really love to see more pics of your WTF bugly.

Double top tube and my favorite color drew me to this bike. I went with the Ultegra CX hydraulic disc groupset. I tried a lot of different tire and rim types with this bike finally deciding on the Specialized Sawtooth tubeless tires because their price and durability. This bike is decent on trails and loaded down for bikepacking. If I had to do the build again, I would go with 10 speed for the triple up front. I put a Thomson seatpost and stem with a bottle opener headset spacer. I like the fact you can go thru axle when you order the frame or quick release. It used to have braze on's for the rear rack, but this years model doesn't. I put the Salsa rack seatpost collar on it and it does the trick just fine. The Brooks C-17 is super comfy for the big climbs out our valley and into the next.

The bike is heavy. they said the rear wheel with Alfine hub was >5 lbs. When conditions get sloppy though, and mud cakes the derailleurs and chains of other bikes, this one keeps going.

Gravel Cyclist is one of my favorite blogs to read. I hope to make a gravel bike part of my life this spring.

And look at all the trouble they're causing!

Quick, someone issue an order to ban geared bikes and prevent them from contaminating our pure single-gear race, err, forum.
