28mm on an '09 Sputnik?

Quick question, anyone know if a 28mm tire will fit on an '09 Sputnik? The one with the carbon fork.

Thank you so much for your contribution. Not near my bike at the moment.

Relax guys.

You shouldn't have any problems running 28's. I'm 99.999% sure for the rear and I'm very certain the front will clear a 28 with ease considering it is a steel lugged fork.
I don't own said bike but you know, "measuring"

That's quite generous^

It just always amazes me that people would rather start a thread on a forum and wait for other people to reply than do something as simple as measuring something on a bike they already own. Using a ruler or digital caliper is not rocket science.

Let it go OP. For the record, I cleaned up some bits.
I think my previous post has what you want although a bit not ideal.

If it bothers you so much why do you bother responding? You seem like an alright dude but it seems that you contribute more negativity than positive influence. (and yes these constant topics do get redundant and annoying.)

Because people obviously need to be reminded that they should learn to do some things for themselves. I would never need to ask someone what size tires will fit on my bike.

Yes, but you are well versed in the subject. Unfortunately there are many people are either new or just don't know a lot about the subject. I know this is the internet and searching is an amazing tool but if someone asks a question you can just easily ignore it. Many people, myself included utilize your knowledge to learn and improve. I'm not trying to start a debate here, just some food for thought.
Cheers,
Justin

Had to, name calling and accusing somebody of working in a circus is not nice.

Seems a bit of a stretch from a simple question from someone without the current means to answer it themselves. Which is what I thought a forum was for. Sorry O'great Scrod. My sincerest apologies.
