Highway 2 Cleared for summer?

Does anyone know when Caltrans usually clears Highway 2 (Islip Saddle to Vincent Gap) for the Spring/Summer? The last few pictures I saw of it were pretty gnarly.

I rode it on Saturday and it was completely rideable. Not passable in a car, though.

Ooops, no it won't. There was still some snow blocking the road in places (though rapidly melting), and a couple of good-sized boulders.

I was also tormented by kamikaze giant squirrels on the descent.

Sorry, I was traveling light. Just did it again on April 4--still closed, still messy but no more snow.
