yes i'm short...but i'd like to stay with 700 wheels if possible.

i'm trying to stay away from custom...as i already have a custom road + cx bikes.

thanks in advance!

thanks for the suggestion, but the 49 pista's TT is 52.3 which is way too long for me.

Another choice is Fuji. Their smallest is a 52cm but they measure C-T of seat tube. So it would be a 50cm.

I am also a short person, and the problem you'll find is that you can make the TT only so short on a track frame for 700c wheels without messing up the geometry, specifically head and seat tube angles. I have a 49cm Bianchi pista Concept with a 52.3cm effective TT and reasonable 74 / 76 head and seat tube angles and 28mm fork offset. I also have a 43cm Motobecane Messenger with a 50.3cm effective TT, but it has 72 / 75 angles and 45mm fork offset. About the only thing you can do to remedy the situation is to use a shorter stem and a bar with shorter reach and drop, which is what I did with a Leader frame that has a very long TT. Because this frame has a short head tube, steep 74 degree head angle and short 28mm fork offset, my riding position relative to the front wheel axle is still good with this setup.

Nice first person videos! You have good tactical sense, staying near the front but on a wheel most of the time, coming off just for the sprints. I've raced that track, it's very nice but needs more banking to go really fast in the turns. Anyways, nice racing.

its a whole new world track racing...the ability to move up track to avoid people drafting is a benefit...or detriment. all us newbies need practice!
