"Easy" being the 'operative' word. After major surgery, Doc, they're all easy rides for awhile. As I said, it was about 7 weeks after my LAR that I dared venture out on the bike.
Remember that I work with soldiers--young, healthy people who perceive themselves as invincible, and don't like to be told they can't do something. So one has to be very specific with definitions of things like "easy." You're one of those normal people who won't push through pain unscrupulously.
