People in C&V:
  • Don't think that a bike must cost $4000 to be a great ride.
  • Think that a 1990's bike is still pretty new.
  • Enjoy spreading the bike knowledge that they've spent years storing up.
  • Often wear cotton clothing.
  • Have fancy names for rust... names like "patina".
  • Actually take pride in their bike's "patina".
  • Aren't impressed by Shimano's new electronic shifters.
  • Would be impressed by Suntour electronic shifters!
